What riders say
The general consensus is that the Willowbrook Mall Shoppers Stop is a positive, well-regarded location that effectively serves both mall visitors and commuters. Positive viewpoints highlight that it is very organized, features plenty of security, offers convenient access to shopping deals, and functions as a major transit hub with three shelters servicing over a dozen local and express bus lines connecting to multiple counties, upstate New York, and the Port Authority Bus Terminal. On the negative side, reviewers note that boarding can become a chaotic mess with large crowds of teenagers pushing, shoving, and fighting, while the adjacent mall area suffers from a congested food court, limited non-shopping activities, and difficulties locating free children's carts.

Overall, it's a good spot. I wish I could find where the kid's carts are for my son. Not the ones you pay for, the ones that are supposed to be at the entrances. I never seem to find them, just bad timing, I suppose. The food court, like anywhere else, is always ridiculously congested. Hence why I rarely, If ever, give more than 4 stars to a mall. Not too many fun activities to do in the mall for non shopaholics. Better off going to the trampoline place across the street for my kid, or the theater for myself. One highlight are the decent deals by stores like Old Navy.
The Willowbrook Mall Shoppers Stop is more than just a shopping mall bus stop; it is actually a major transit hub for New Jersey Transit busses. Three separate shelters handle transit for over a dozen different lines traveling to four different counties, upstate New York, and Port Authority Bus Terminal over local and express routes, acting as both a termination point and transfer, as well as a major park ride point. With all the busses, particularly the local ones, things can become a complete mess at times, particularly when 30 or 40 school teens try to board a bus, usually all at once. I have seen numerous pushing, shoving and fighting incidents here, and believe me, it's not a very pleasant sight, especially when it's my bus that it's on. Sadly, nothing is going to improve until something really bad happens. I hope that's not the case.
