Hackensack Bus Terminal

It’s a convenient bus station to pick up my brother who comes from NY, the only difficulty that I’ve found it’s no parking place.

It is a great bus terminal however I would just like for them to have buses available that go to Fort Lee New Jersey,past 11:00PM. Other than that its a very nice bus terminal,to use in order to go most parts of New Jersey.

Great place to bump into lots of interesting characters. 24 hour security is a plus, and they have big screen and big font displays with a rolling schedule. Restrooms need improvement, go before ya ya leave the house maybe.

Honestly, some of the buses were late or never on time, or didn't come at all. But most of those buses were going to the same place or close to the same place, so you could always hop on another bus you would still get to your destination. I did witness some arguments and always bring cash.

Buses never arrive on time on the weekends. If the buses are supposed to dead head to the terminal in an empty bus and not pick up any passengers; how come their never on time for the first stop; and there's never no supervision at the terminal on Saturday mornings at 5am. The passengers don't information about delays or schedule changes, the terminal doesn't open until later in the A.M., the service needs to improve. On Sundays, forget about it, the transportation service should run the same as Saturday, why can't there be a schedule that starts at 5:15 a.m..

Gateway security Wanna is very rude. My Mom and I asked to use the bathroom. She walked a way, while on her cell phone, ear phone plug in her ear and did not answer us at all.We asked her again ,she still didnt say anything however she did finally open the bathroom but didn't open her mouth once...very unprofessional. She has bad customer service.She needs to be fired.I will definitely call and report her.

Disgusting place there's way too many homeless people panhandling, the restrooms smell like they haven't been cleaned in months,the security guards can't do anything other than call the police which doesn't accomplish anything. Needs better management

It's much better for me since they had no choice but to lock the doors of the restrooms to minimize vandalism. I like it, it does look nice and tidy now. 😊👍👌

It's gross there.. very rude security's and bathroom part is totally dirty and smells so bad if I ever had to use the bathroom I would have to hold my breath. There use to even be a homeless lady living in there.

You can go anywhere in North Jersey from the Hackensack bus terminal, including New York, upper Manhattan and Midtown.

New Jersey Transit is always late one of the reason that I'm always late at work yesterday I wait one and a half hour for the bus 780 the app tell me one time but the boss never show up that sucks

I was at the station at 9am waiting for the 780 bus going towards Teaneck/Englewood hospital waited 2 hours and it was a no show. Very disappointing. I was running late and ended up taking an Uber.

The terminal is kept clean now,the busses have gotten better with being on time,the buses need alot of maintenance inside and out it's terrible

they cleaned up the bus terminal since the last time i was there they did a great job!

It is convenient since many bus lines travel through here. It is also located between two major streets, River Street and Main Street.

Very dirty bathroom is closed of flooding needs to have better plumbing they need to have clean the terminal more often

Needs complete overhaul. Poor lighting filthy in and out. Pigeon's living in filth in the electrical area!!
