What riders say
The general consensus is that Hoboken Terminal is a highly convenient, functional, and historic transit hub offering excellent connectivity across New Jersey and New York. Reviewers frequently praise the station's efficiency, timely departures, clean bathrooms, spacious waiting areas, and wide array of transit options, as well as the surrounding food options and scenic Manhattan skyline views. On the negative side, reviewers criticize reckless bus driving, discrepancies between actual bus arrivals and posted digital schedules, lack of air conditioning in underground areas, missing garbage cans on platforms, lingering physical storm damage, and an isolated incident of public indecency.

Brand new. Awesome place. Clean bathrooms and lots of things to do around there.
Bus drivers go 15-25 mph over the speed limit, run red lights, cut drivers off going full speed. Why are we rushing, is there a bonus if they finish a route the quickest? I'm for public safety vs getting to destinations quicker.
This is actually a pretty good train terminal especially compared to New York Penn station. The tracks are posted well before departure time and the trains almost always leave from the same tracks on a daily basis. The downside is that it still looks somewhat beat up as it was significantly damaged during the storm several years ago.
A Transportation hub where 3 train systems intersect, The systems are NJ Transit trains, Path train and Hudson–Bergen Light Rail, while it is a functional and efficient hub the terminal is also destination when you factor the amazing Manhattan skyline that can be seen from the edges of the station
Never wait believing the schedule given in njntransit app or Google map. Some how this nj transit terminal doesn't follow any timing especially rt 85 /87 etc.
Hoboken Terminal is your connection point to other areas of New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia. We were headed to the post office and it was walking distance from the Hoboken Terminal. This terminal is very interesting and if we had more time, I would have liked to catch a train to Philly. You can connect to the PATH train at this location as well. There are a few stores and restaurants on the premises as well. One could really venture out from here.
The waiting area's spacious and you can grab a coffee right in the station. Unfortunately, the underground terminals are not air conditioned and can become extremely hot.
Beautiful View, Great Food, Plenty of Amazing Bar/ Restaurants Many connections to get around New York City + New Jersey Bus , train , light rail , Ferry Water , Path Train
Always on time!
Lightrail, NJ Transit Train & Bus, Ferry service available in the historic station.
How are there no garbage cans on the path platform?
It has been very slow since the accident on September 29,2016 other than that everything is in good shape
Extremely clean, comfortable, on-time and unlikely to combust
Convenient terminal. This is the only terminal in the US where I saw a guy relieving himself in public. Disgusting!
There are many connections to New York and parts of New Jersey.
