What riders say
The general consensus is that the terminal offers a poor and uncomfortable waiting experience despite functional bus service. On the positive side, reviewers appreciate that buses mostly run on time and note instances of skilled, calm drivers navigating severe weather safely. On the negative side, the terminal suffers from heavily soiled floors and notoriously dirty bathrooms, unhelpful staff, recurring bus cancellations, and an closed Greyhound counter. Visitors also report high food prices, limited seating with strict time and ticket restrictions, and a heavy presence of homeless individuals sleeping and begging, occasionally resulting in disruptive police ejections.
Recent reviews
On Saturday the 1st we had tornado warnings the weather was bad you couldn't see the road in front of you but our bus driver was calm and drove though the worst storm I think I had ever seen and we got to Atlantic city bus terminal almost on time he did a great job getting us there safely ๐
Really poor conditions in AC bus terminal floors not cleaned properly, many homeless and people begging for money word of advice if you can wait anywhere else but there for a bus do it. Bathrooms not the best at all your likely to see feces and urine on toilet or floor they way they have it roped off only limited seating you have to have a bus ticket to sit down and 2 hour seating limit if you do have a ticket and not a bus pass some times long lines for a ticket , many homeless sleep in there during storm , or snow and then after couple hours the police do the ticket check make them leave most of the time the cops have one that causes a scene. The one pizza place in there extremely high but if you're hungry you'll pay $4-$5 for a slice $12 or more for a hoagie TRUST ME IF YOU HAVE A BETTER OPTION TO WAIT FOR A BUS TAKE IT IMMEDIATELY just saying it won't be a good experience for you if you just here to visit. The Greyhound place in there is never open no more they have a number on the paper to tell you who to call for Greyhound service I once heard that they moved it to Resorts good luck finding it.
Workers are completely unhelpful and have a xo plate disregard for people's dignity or time
I don't understand what experience I'm supposed to be describing, only drove down a street.
They always canceling the 551 at least once a week
Dirty bathrooms.
Always bus are mostly on time and not really to much bs
It's trash
Best to be expected..
There's limited seeting because of the homeless population there, which is ironic because the homeless take up all of the remaining seats so standing room only bathrooms are horrible just bad all around
